Not to pick on Star Trek fans yet again, but they certainly seem to buy some, ahem, interesting things.  Take for example this “Tribble,” a fictional alien species from the Star Trek TV series which sold for $3,200 on eBay.  With a certificate of authenticity signed by Chris “Son of [Beam Me Up,] Scotty” Doohan, this is the finest bit of memorabilia that looks like something you brushed off your cat that money can buy.
